Roger Ridpath

Partner, Website Architect, Creative Director, Photoshop Freak!

One of my favorite sayings is, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” The great Wayne Gretzky once said this, and I truly believe it. In fact, that‘s how I live my life and run my businesses. I feel lucky to get up every day and do something that I love.

A little over ten years ago, Angela (see above) and I started Ridpath Creative Partners, an award-winning group that I draw inspiration and energy from. (Not to mention a paycheck!). I've built hundreds of Websites for companies as big as Colgate International and as small as my brother-in-law's restaurant. Each project, Website and client allows me the opportunity to truly do what inspires me the most!

I’m also lucky enough to enjoy certain aspects of my job so much, that I consider them hobbies. One of my favorite past times, for example, is working with Photoshop. This not only led me to pursue the difficult Adobe Certified Expert qualification in 2006, but it also led me to start a successful spin-off business, photoshopisland.com. Photoshopisland.com is a place where beginners or advanced users can go to get free and low cost Photoshop advice and products.

To sum it all up, each day, I strive to improve my skills. I strive to over-achieve, and I strive to make each and every one of my clients successful.

Albert Einstein once said, "Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value". This is how I try and live my life. I have been coding websites for about 10 years and using Drupal for about 5. Why Drupal? Drupal is like my favorite toy as a kid, LEGO's! Its a Content Management System that allows me to express the clients ideas in a simple and powerful way. When im not working I spend time with my wonderful family Geocaching, making movies, and teaching my kids about the wonderful things in life. Dave Banks

Partner, Project Manager, New Biz Man, Just a Freak!

Dave Banks has nearly 20 years of advertising and marketing experience, working on both national accounts and local efforts. David is a veteran of the dot-com boom, and cut his teeth in California’s Sorrento Valley, where he worked on user interfaces, content development and site marketing for several start-ups. He has a very strong background in direct marketing and a great understanding of what makes the Web work. He is also a contributing author at Wired.com, the online edition of the nation’s leading technology publication. When he's not working, Dave likes to play board games with his kids, invent and build wonderful and silly contraptions and watch cars go really, really fast.
